| Former
lovers reignite and secrets threaten to explode as Liz and Jason make love
this week, Ric confesses to his brother and Sam makes a shocking decision.
Friends and lovers :
Jason and Liz open their hearts to one another as well as a few bottles of
tequilas! Shortly they finds themselves "making love". What neither of
them knows is that Sam is out in the hall ready to confess to Jason about
her ONS with her step daddy. Of Course Jason already knows this having
caught the pair in the act. Sam changes her mind just as Jason hears a
noise and comes out to check almost catching her leave. Back with Liz, he
offers to help her in any way he can...including sending her and her son
on an all expense trip/relocation out of town. She turns him down, and
tells him she plans on staying in PC and making a life without Lucky, whom
she plans on divorcing. BH says " She tried to make it work with Lucky,
but she can't let her son live in the same house with an addict who is out
of control and unfaithful. She knows Jason will always be there to support
her and catch he if she falls. He giver her the strength to be able
to this with Lucky."
SB adds that the longtime friends found something special in each other
that night. "We each needed a friend because we're both hurt. Now there's
always going to be something special about their friendship. There was an
attraction that resurfaced that night, but that doesn't lessen the
feelings he has for Sam. It was just the timing of it all."
True Confessions
Meanwhile as Sam plans to leave town, Ric offers to facilitate it
financially, but she refuses. She then visits Sonny and admits to having
slept with his brother. Sonny insinuates that Jason would not easily
forgive her infidelity. Unable to leave town with such a huge secret
between them Sam finally confesses to Jason only to find out he already
knows. Worse, Sam finds out that Jason was ready to forget all the bad
times and take her back....until he saw her in bed with Ric. SB: "I
might have been able to deal with it better if it was someone else, but
the fact that it's Ric just adds another notch. We hate each other, and we
are going to keep hating each other. After this I'm going to want to kill
him!"
Farewell, My Love?
Jason admits that he too has been unfaithful, confessing to his night with
Liz---a night he neither regrets or feels guilty about . But he remains
unable to forgive Sam. SB: " Jason kept pushing her away. That
doesn't make it okay for her to go do what she did. But can he hate her
for it? I don't know who's to blame. This situation really isn't black and
white." A heartbroken Sam realizes their relationship has been
shattered by her actions and is beyond repair. Nothing Jason says can
change her mind.
Second Chances?
Meanwhile Liz sneaks into a NA meeting and listens as Lucky talks about
his struggle. Moved by his words, she returns home and finds herself
unable to pack her stuff. When her hubby comes home and makes an emotional
plea, Liz realizes just how much she loves him and agrees to try and make
things work. BH: "Everything changes now that he's admitting to needing
help and getting it. She vowed to be with him for better or worse, and she
feels like she'd be a hypocrite if she didn't try to work things out.
First there is the matter of her
affair to deal with, she rushes to Jason and begs him
to keep their night together quiet, but
he tells her Sam already knows. After Jason's two women meet and agree to
keep their infidelities a secret, Liz confronts Maxie. Maxie spins
some lies, but is warned to stay away--or else! Meanwhile Lucky has a
dream in which he catches Liz with Patrick and shoots his cheating wife!
Is his dream more prophetic than anyone knows?
Sonny goes to Jason with news that Alexis has cancer and need all the
support she can get. Jason promises to try and convince Sam to stay, but
doubts he will have much luck. When Alexis sits her family down to share
the news, Sam faces the dilemma of a lifetime. Jason provides a shoulder
to cry on, but will that convince her to stay in PC? One way or another
says Burton, "If they are going to get Jason and Sam back together again,
they can't just throw them together again. It's going to have to be
something that's slow. They have to rebuild what went wrong."
