Jason has a dream. He wakes up and thinks the dream is real |
| He talks to Sam about his fears for Emily. It's not what Sonny has done in the past but what he is doing today. There has always been love and trust between them so he can't believe his little sister and best friend are lying to his face about being together. |
| He gets a call from Michael who had to miss a field trip because neither of his parents signed the permission slip. Michael says he could not reach his dad at any of the phone numbers Sonny left for him. |
| Jason meets Bernie, Benny's twin brother who has come to work for Sonny. Jason tells him that when Sonny cannot be reached, he is to take orders from him. Bernie agrees. Carly comes in. |
| She introduces herself to Bernie as Sonny's ex-wife. He tells her his brother told him about her creativity and resilience. After Bernie leaves she lies about Sonny being out of town looking at some property. Jason interrupts her and says she is lying to him and she wouldn't be if she didn't know where Sonny was or who he was with. Carly says there are some questions that should not be asked. |
