Ever wonder what goes on at a Digest photo shoot?  Here's the scoop from our recent session with General Hospital's Steve Burton and Rebecca Herbst.

Location, location, location! Under the guidance of ace photographer Jeff Katz, Burton and Herbst met in an empty soundstage at The Prospect Studios in Los Angeles, CA, where GH tapes.

Food for Thought!  A buffet spread of turkey, salami and tuna sandwiches and wraps, a choice of green and pasta salads and cold beverages fed the actors, who generously gave up their lunch breaks to participate.

Medical Drama (and Company) ! Since Katz has worked with both actors numerous times over the years, the mood was light and the wisecracks rampant.  A wide array of music, from rock to pop to soul, played in the background as Katz clicked away.  When the photographer tried to get a smile out of Burton, the actor cracked in mock anger, "You know I only have one pose!". As Burton did his solo shots, Herbst shared amusing stories about the antics of her little ones, Ethan and Ella.  And staffers passing by were reporting GREY'S ANATOMY sightings, since the medical drama also tapes on the same lot:  "McDreamy alert" was the call of the day, and one staffer joked that when the shows have a meal break at the same time, the studio commissary looks like a real life hospital cafeteria.
